This weeks classes....

It is never too late - one of my most used sayings.

It can sometimes be hard to motivate oneself or regularly exercise, especially if you don't normally participate or enjoy it. A balanced exercise routine should incorporate a variety of disciplines such as  walking on a regular basis. Zumba classes will make it easy and fun whatever the weather. 

I want people to ‘move it and not lose it’  and see your confidence build every week. You may have goals to reach, however big or small they may be, you can get there.


My classes are friendly and welcome a range of abilities. I especially welcome any nervous beginners, as you may feel apprehensive coming to a class the first time not being sure what to expect or whether you will be able to ‘do it.’ For 60 minutes forget about your troubles – just let your hair down and go for it! Zumba Fitness is great for all ages and abilities, just go at your own pace. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have much co-ordination – so long as you’re moving, smiling and having fun that’s all that matters!

My name is Maria. I am a fully qualified & insured Therapist, AgeCymru LIFT and Zumba Instructor, garden enthusiast and doting grandma! I have worked within a health & caring environment for a number of years and this is where my passion and enthusiasm for promoting health and wellbeing stems from. I reside in the beautiful Black Mountains within the Brecon Beacons National Park, Wales, UK. 

Once the Covid-19 situation relaxes and we can move forward, I will also be offering local classes. So, if you would like to find out more or suggest a venue for your community, arrange private sessions, or have any questions, do get in touch.

Zumba Fitness is a very special program. It allows people to let go & keep fit, learn dances from all around the world and be part of a wonderful community. My classes are for everyone and everybody; you can't do it 'wrong'. It's all about having fun and keeping moving.  All classes combine cardio, posture correction, toning, weight loss flexibility and Fun! Zumba is a Latin American music based dance/fitness programme that incorporates aerobic exercises with the dance styles of Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue as well as international choreographies from all around the world.


- Participants should check their surroundings are clear and to keep any distractions, such as pets, away during the session.

- You accept that a coaching session is a means of general guidance and motivation. It is the participant's responsibility to be aware of their own capabilities and do what they are comfortable with. Medical advice should be sought if there is any doubt.

- Stay hydrated.
